it's a word usually loosely used with photographers nowadays.  i try as much as possible to suit my photographs in a journalistic kinda way. really, that's why i got into photography. to simply tell stories.

 

 

anyway, one of the ways i draw my photography inspiration is by looking through newspapers (and news magazines).  my friend shared on her blog a series of photos from the NY times. Click here to check them out. just another way i drew inspiration from this whole election.

 

who knows what will happen in the next few years...but i know i witnessed history on november 4th.

a couple of weeks ago, i had a lifestyle photoshoot for a fashion designer, ituen basi, based in london.  the shoot took place in adams morgan, here in washington, dc.

 

thanks to the great models, coordinator and the make up artist/model, taiwo.  had loads of fun, and can't wait for the next shoot.
