i made a commitment last month to blog everyday for 30 days. by day 5 i changed computers, traveled thrice, had issues with my site/blog being down, had 3 major photoshoots and a couple of wedding coverages.  not to mention the past assignments i had to edit for my clients.

 

yeah yeah...excuses excuses...i can hear you. LOL.

 

the good news is that i do have quite a bit to blog about. but i'm not making any more 30-day promises :-) things happen.

yes, indeedy! believe it or not. starting september 1st, i'll be posting everyday, straight for 30 days. don't believe me? wait and see!

just so i post up a picture, here's one from lola's wedding last weekend in stockholm. i was actually a guest. doesn't mean i can't whip out my camera every once in a while ;-). more pictures coming soon.

yup. i'm taking a limited number of portraits for artists, at zero commission.  the catch is quite simple- must already be a musician or an actor/comedian (and not just starting out); and the location must be in the D.C. metropolitan area (unless i'll be in your area, then we can schedule something around that time). the portraits could be during your performance, on location or in my studio.


what the portrait session includes-
*phone/in person meeting to determine type of shoot
*one look (i.e., no outfit changes)
*all low resolution images (for web use)
*your choice of one high resolution, retouched image (for print)
*disk with all images (high and low resolution images) can be purchased for only $50!
*if you elect for me to cover your live performance, concert, recording, etc., you would have to arrange for a pass if necessary.

all request must be placed no later than august 16th, 2009. as stated earlier, i'm only doing a limited number so first come first serve. and sessions can be booked till december 20th, 2009.

thanks to all for the emails regarding my blog being down. i've been working on some stuff, like my website, and things were broken behind the scenes. i'm back, and i hope to have more goodies soon.

it has been a while, i know. well, i have good news! in honor of st. valentine's day, and for a very limited time (and for only a handful of clients), i'll be doing 'lovers and friends' photo sessions. for $99, you get the following:

*choice of location (must be in the immediate DC metropolitan area)
*45-60 minute sessions each 
*images, fully edited, on a CD
*$10 credit towards the order of prints, cards, calendars, etc.

for some reason, it reminded me that i have a lot of work to do over the holidays.  and i have all kinds of images for your viewing pleasure- weddings, birthdays, special event and portrait sessions.  fun times.

it is that time of the year where family comes first and you need photographs :-) whether your family is just you, your wife/husband/kids, or you and your friends, or maybe just you! whatever your family looks like, this is the time where most people start planning their christmas photos & cards.

that said, i will be shooting a small handful of fun family/friends shoots over the last week of november and the first week of december. so, if you are still trying to figure out what to do for that photo op, drop me a line. here's the scoop:

***all shoots must be scheduled somewhere within washington metro area between the dates of november 24th & december 7th [excluding thanksgiving & morning of black friday]

***your shoot will probably take about 45 minutes

***plan on having fun!

***within a week of your shoot, all of the images will be available to be viewed online, and you will choose one image, for your christmas card, that i will re-touch and then deliver to you via email [the hi-resolution file]

***the remainder of the images will remain online if you wish to order prints and share with friends and family OR you may purchase all of the digital files [to be delivered on disc] for an additional $50
