for some reason, it reminded me that i have a lot of work to do over the holidays.  and i have all kinds of images for your viewing pleasure- weddings, birthdays, special event and portrait sessions.  fun times.

i've been really busy trying to do several things at the same time, that i forgot to keep my blog updated. my bad!  i'll be posting some pictures soon. 

i was at barnes and nobles the other day and saw this coffee mug (i used my phone):

a few weeks ago, i attended one of the shows from "Can a Sista Rock a Mic?" event. sometimes i forget how much fun live music is. and i love taking pictures at live events.

lovely photographs, as always:) This looks like it must have been fun! I love how you always try different angles in your photographs, and with this set it's cool how you play around with black and white and sepia tones. I'm taking notes too!!

it's a word usually loosely used with photographers nowadays.  i try as much as possible to suit my photographs in a journalistic kinda way. really, that's why i got into photography. to simply tell stories.

anyway, one of the ways i draw my photography inspiration is by looking through newspapers (and news magazines).  my friend shared on her blog a series of photos from the NY times. Click here to check them out. just another way i drew inspiration from this whole election.
